Bonnie Murthy

Hello! I’m Bonnie.

Welcome to my not-so-humble abode.

I’ve fulfilled ecomm orders at 2am, built financial models, and executed marketing campaigns for the same business in the same week.

Versatile, or bad boundaries? Possibly both.

For a while, I thought other people’s validation was going to make me feel fulfilled. So I spent a chunk of my career trying to build “expertise” and be impressive.

Who was I kidding?!

I’m an intellectual omnivore who realized a long time ago that life is too big and too small at the same time, and if I didn’t learn how to do at least 5761 things before I die, I’d regret it.

So, I said eff-you to reducing myself to a single career identity and stopped apologizing for the amalgamation that I am.

…which is how you get someone who talks about AI on a podcast; helps small businesses build cult-like communities; writes essays that walk the proverbial fence but ignite conversation; and, yes, sells bread on Saturdays (like really good sourdough).

My brain is a hungry beast, only sated when it can trace how things are connected: people and incentives, ideas and behavior, businesses and communities, biology and bread.

I’m greedy for range. And connecting the dots helps me see which threads are worth tugging.

Best deployed as a 2IC (aka second-in-command), I’m the person you hand the messy half of the business to, who links vision with execution, builds systems, and turns customers into a community.

I LOVE what I do!

Hire me if you like a smiley face, an embarrassing sense of humor, and solid results.

I come with weekly memes and snobbish coffee preferences. #sorrynotsorry
